What can contractors do to get new business?
Very few contractors think the customers they had last year will suffice this year. Most agree they need to find new sources of revenue. As a result, many contractors are proactively trying to earn business from new customers.
Finding new customers means being where they look for reliable information. For most contractors today that means having a presence on the web and ensuring it can be easily found when someone is looking for contracting services or information. Many contractors are turning to services like Intuit Websites to establish their online presence and investing in targeted online marketing like Google Adwords or Local search. They also recognize that when the phone rings they need to execute right the first time so that they can win repeat business and garner good word of mouth.
